The Choice Neighborhood STEM Center of Excellence, is offering community courses, and certification programs for technologies such as digital marketing in both the Web 2 and Web 3 spaces, cyber security, solar energy, 3D printing, vertical farming, drones, virtual reality, utilizing high-tech computing, and industry-grade software.

Our Technologies

Drones

The drone training program will enable learners to experience drones first-hand in 30 feet of vertical air space. Entry-level drones will be used for introduction to drone technologies and basic flight techniques. n addition, the program features professional- grade drones with long-lasting batteries, extended range, and advanced gimbal technology for video stabilization.

The Drone Training Program will enable learners to gain skills and experience needed to operate drone technologies which are used in a wide range of industries including agriculture, utility inspection, land surveying, aviation, search and rescue, real estate, filmmaking, and broadcasting.

Cybersecurity

Within our cybersecurity program, learners will embark on a journey of learning cutting-edge skills and knowledge that will equip participants for the digital age.

Dive into topics such as network security, ethical hacking, cryptography, and incident response. With expertise in cybersecurity, learners gain the ability to safeguard sensitive information and protect critical systems for various industries. Vertical Farming

The vertical farming and hydroponics program will provide indoor agriculture training. The STEM Center’s vertical farming technologies include automation of lighting and water circulation as well as professional quality equipment for testing pH, electrical conductivity, and other components of nutrient solutions.

The growing units demonstrate adjustable lighting configurations, varying planting processes, and multiple growing techniques. Learners will gain a range of skills and experience operating and maintaining indoor hydroponic technologies for entry into a variety of fields including urban agriculture for the production of local crops, plant biology, food science, systems design and maintenance, and other indoor agriculture professions.

3D Printing

The 3D printing program will give learners access to real-world technologies used in the workplace. Featuring a variety of machine types, such as fused-filament fabrication (FFF) and stereolithography apparatus (SLA), users will learn how to 3D model to design and manufacture parts, pieces, objects, and even products in a professional environment.

Large-format printing and post-processing technology will also expand the capabilities of the program. Learners will gain skills and experience using 3D printing technologies which are used in a variety of industries such as manufacturing and prototyping, robotics and engineering, medical and dentistry, automotive and aviation, jewelry and fashion design, and hydroponics and agriculture.

Software Development

Through hands-on projects and expert guidance, students will delve into programming languages, software design principles, version control systems, and agile development methodologies. Understanding software development is imperative in today’s technology-driven world, where it powers everything from mobile apps to complex enterprise systems.

Web3 Toolkit

Our program in the world of Web 3.0 using the powerful “Web 3 Toolkit” empowers individuals with the skills and knowledge to shape the future of online experiences. Through our comprehensive curriculum, participants will learn the intricacies of NFT creation, NFT collection creation,

NFT minting, augmented reality (AR) experiences, and the groundbreaking “shopatainment” technology developed by our esteemed partner, DroppGroup. Web 3.0 represents a paradigm shift in the digital landscape, introducing decentralized technologies and enhanced user interactions. By acquiring expertise in Web 3.0, individuals can explore a multitude of industries, including art, gaming, e-commerce, advertising, and entertainment.

Web2 Toolkit

In our Web 2.0 program at The STEM Center, learners will gain hands-on experience and expertise in the dynamic world of web design and digital marketing using the powerful “Web 2 Toolkit.” The program covers a range of essential skills, including website development, search engine optimization (SEO), customer relationship management (CRM), social media marketing, advertising analytics, and online reputation management.

In today’s digital landscape, mastering these skills is crucial for businesses looking to establish a strong online presence and reach their target audience effectively. With proficiency in the Web 2 Toolkit, you can unlock opportunities in diverse industries such as e-commerce, marketing agencies, startups, and even large corporations seeking to enhance their digital strategies.

Solar

The Solar Energy program will provide resources and training equipment to prepare learners for entry into the fields of solar power and renewable energy. The program will demonstrate general components of solar electric systems, including solar modules, AC power inverters, DC and AC disconnects, dedicated meters, and main electrical panels, displaying how they interconnect.

The training program also incorporates hands-on testing and solar configuration equipment modules while highlighting how various solar technologies can be used to achieve a range of objectives. Learners will gains skills and experience for entry into solar energy careers such as field technicians and installers, project developers, and sales consultants.
