Lizette Guillen Collins is the Acting President & CEO of Nevada Partners, Inc. (NPI)—a nationally recognized nonprofit dedicated to eradicating poverty and reducing unemployment through cradle- to-career education, vocational training, and workforce development. For nearly 33 years, NPI’s high-touch, high-impact programs have advanced academic achievement, parent engagement, leadership development, financial literacy, life-skills coaching, home-buyer education, and exposure to innovative STEM and entrepreneurship pathways for families across Southern Nevada.

Since joining NPI in 2011, Lizette has supported in securing and managed millions of dollars in local, state, and federal grants; overseen complex budgets; and provided critical operational, administrative, and programmatic leadership. Under her guidance, NPI has been designated as one of only 100 HUD EnVision Centers nationwide (and the sole site in Southern Nevada). The organization also houses the Choice Neighborhood STEM Center of Excellence, a state-of-the-art hub offering residents cutting-edge career readiness development in emerging technologies.

A skilled convener, Lizette forges partnerships that bring together government, industry, and community stakeholders in service of economic equity. Before NPI, she served as Employment Supervisor at the internationally acclaimed Culinary Academy of Las Vegas, where she led student services and strengthened hiring pipelines with major resort properties along the Las Vegas Strip.
